Many customers regularly ask if we have croissants for sale. We love croissants, but as you can imagine they are very labor intensive to make. That's why we are very happy to announce a new collaboration. From this month onwards we will have croissants available thanks to the alliance with Dutch Vegan Bakery, who will provide us with their exquisite croissants in two versions: natural and with cheese.
This Dutch bakery is not the new kid on the block, as they have been working in the business for over 25 years. It wasn't until 2016, after a customer requested a vegan apple pie, that they began developing a line of plant-based products. They tell us a little more: "what started with three vegan options in our traditional artisan bakery, has grown so much that more than 80% of our range is now completely plant-based. Our customers throughout the country enjoy vegan bread & pastries every day!"
With the vegan range, they currently serve not only vegans and vegetarians, but also food intolerant customers with products that are lactose-free (cow's milk-free) and egg-free.
