Our organic medium roast coffee is roasted locally in Amstelveen by Het Hoofdkwartier Koffiebranderij. They import coffee beans directly from the reputed coffee region Eje Cafetro (Coffee Axis) located in central Colombia. This unique medium roast combines several varieties of Arabica coffee, notably Castillo, Caturra and Variedad. With recognisable notes of chocolate and orange citrus, this coffee has a complex yet smooth flavour.
How to use
This organic medium roast coffee is ideal for both slow, manually brewed coffee with a more nuanced flavour and natural sweetness, and for black and white espresso-based beverages. Additionally, it pairs and mixes well with vegan milk alternatives. Coffee beans can keep for up to 2 years, and ground coffee for about half a year. That said, to best experience the unique flavour of this coffee, we recommend you grind and use the beans within 14-30 days of their roast. Little Plant Pantry's coffee beans are roasted on Wednesdays, and delivered 1-2 days after.
