Description
Organic adzuki beans have a sweet nutty flavour and a natural savoury aroma. Cooked adzuki beans can be added to salads, soups and hotpots. Like most beans, adzuki beans are loaded with fibre, protein, complex carbs and beneficial plant compounds, including antioxidants. These adzuki beans are also fair trade.
How to Use
Adzuki Bean Hummus: 1 cup cooked adzuki beans (cooled if cooked on the same day), 2 tablespoons tahini paste, 1 garlic clove, juice of 1 lemon (about 2 tablespoons), 2 tablespoons cilantro, Β½ teaspoon ground cumin, Β½ teaspoon ground ginger, 1 tablespoon olive oil, additional water to desired consistency, salt and pepper to taste. Add all of these ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately or store in a glass jar.
Production Process
Our adzuki beans are harvested and brought to the factory where they are cleaned (removing stones etc.). After this, the beans are selected on size and polished, with broken beans being removed. Finally, the product is laser sorted and X-rayed, hand-picked and packed.
