Our organic millet flakes are a naturally gluten-free way to enjoy your breakfast or lunch. They are made from crushed millet grains, one of the oldest grown cereals. Millet flakes are rich in nutrients and B-vitamins and are an easily digestible source of plant protein.
How to use
Millet is a great gluten-free grain that is so versatile and can be used for breakfast, snacks, or larger meals. Soak your millet overnight to make it easier to digest and speed up cooking times. Add 1 cup of rinsed and drained millet to a pot with 2 cups of water (and a pinch of salt). Bring it to a boil, cover, and let it simmer for about 15 minutes or until all the water dissolves. You can use it to make a delicious tabbouleh by dicing up some cucumber, tomato, paprika, parsley and mixing it with your cooked millet. Add some lemon and spices and enjoy!
