Our organic English Breakfast tea has a strong taste and full body. It is made with finely cut tea leaves from India. This classic tea prides itself on its hearty flavour paired with floral undertones, the perfect breakfast tea to wake you up in the morning. Mixing this tea with maple syrup and nut milk makes for a honeyed tea with a sweet and aromatic scent.
How to use
Add fresh water at about 95ºC to 1 teaspoon of our organic English Breakfast tea, and let it steep for 3 to 5 minutes. Boiled water will usually have reached this temperature right when the water is poured onto the tea. For a stronger tea, simply add more tea instead of letting it steep for longer to avoid bitterness. This potent blend can usually be served a second or third time. Loose leaf tea keeps its flavour for around 18 months, but can retain most of it for up to 3 years if stored properly.
Store in a cool, dark place, and keep out of direct sunlight.
