Description
Organic oat flour is a perfect replacement for traditional pastry flour in baking and adds a unique flavour to your typical pancake or muffin recipe. Oat flour has many antioxidants and is richer in protein and fat than most flours.
How to Use
You can use oat flour to make oil free and gluten free waffles. Add to a blender: 1/2 cup of apple sauce, 1/4 cup of non-dairy milk, 1 tablespoon of maple syrup, 1 cup of oat flour, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla powder, and blend together until smooth. Optional: add a handful of fresh or frozen blueberries and pulse a couple of times. Add a scoop of mixture to an oiled waffle pan and cook until golden brown.
