How to use
Tapioca starch is a mild flavored gluten-free starch that can be used in cakes and biscuits. It has also been used in many vegan cheese recipes to give it that gooey, stringy texture. Combine 3/4 cup of coconut milk, 3 tbsp of nutritional yeast, 2 tbsp of tapioca flour, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1/4 tsp garlic powder and a pinch of salt to a pot and whisk to combine. Once everything is combined turn on the heat, bring it to a boil and stir consistently. Lower the heat and let is sit for about a minute or until thickened. Serve over pasta, pizza, or as a stand alone vegan cheesy dip.
