Description
Bulgur has a nutty flavour, with a texture that is chewy and similar to other whole grains. As bulgur is minimally processed, it is higher in nutritional values than many refined wheat products.
How to Use
Combine bulghur, 1 1/2 cups water, salt and a drizzle of oil in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer, then cover and cook over low heat until tender for about 10 minutes. Remove from heat, let stand covered for another 10 minutes (optional). Fluff with a fork.
