Description
Our Valencia almonds come from the eastern coast of Spain. Valencia almonds are high in fat, magnesium and protein. Magnesium is a mineral used in more than 300 bodily processes, including blood sugar control. Almonds are very versatile and can be used in a number of sweet and savory dishes.
How to Use
In a large bowl, beat vanilla and maple or corn syrup together. Add almonds and stir to coat. In a separate bowl, combine white and brown sugar with cinnamon and beat until mixed. Add to the nut mixture and stir to coat. Spread the almonds evenly on greased baking pans and roast in the oven for 25-30ΒΊ minutes at 150ΒΊC until crisp. Leave to cool and store in an airtight container.
