Description

Coming from the Corylus tree, hazelnuts can be eaten raw, roasted or ground into a paste. They contain a lot of antioxidants which help protect your body from oxidative stress. Hazelnuts have an earthy flavor and a crunchy texture, perfect for your trail mix or homemade granola.

How to Use
Hazelnuts can be added to many recipes, sweet and savoury, or simply roasted. Preheat your oven to 180ºC and arrange the hazelnuts in a single layer with some spacing in between the nuts. Roast in the oven for 15-20 minutes. Stir every 5 minutes. When the skin has cracked and the nuts are fragrant and glistening, remove them from the oven. Leave to cool.

Pre-selecting size, cracking of the shell and removal of it, sieving, calibration, laser sorting, metal detection and packing.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, and keep out of direct sunlight.
