Organic sesame seeds have a mild, sweet, nutty flavour and fresh aroma. Sesame seeds can be eaten raw, roasted or baked. They are also a great addition to breakfast cereals, baked goods, raw foods and savoury dishes. Though small in size, sesame seeds are full of valuable nutrients and oils.

Sesame seeds are an excellent source of dietary fibre and are beneficial for digestive health. A nutritious source of protein, sesame seeds may also help reduce many health-related risk factors, including elevated triglyceride and “bad” LDL cholesterol levels.

How to Use
There are many ways to prepare organic sesame seeds. A popular snack, they can be eaten raw, though many prefer to roast them. Salted or unsalted, they are a delicious and versatile seed. Excellent for homemade tahini or in granola, you can also sprinkle the seeds on salads, cereals or baked goods. You can top your soups with them, or combine the seeds with other ingredients in sweet or savoury recipes.

Production Process
Harvest, grading, cleaning, de-stoning, colour sorting, magnet, packing and metal detection. The seeds also undergo a heat treatment (75-90ºC) for 5-7 minutes.

Store in a cool, dry place, and keep out of direct sunlight.
