Our extra virgin organic mild olive oil by Aperitton comes directly from Crete. It is produced on a small family-owned plantation where olive trees grow on fertile soil, between fields of aromatic plants, such as thyme and sage. The olive trees are located in the mountainous areas of West Crete and South-East Peloponnese in Greece. These regions are famous for early harvests and excellent olive oil.
The olive oil perfectly balances between sweet and nutty flavours, and bitter and spicy tones.
How to Use
Aperitton press their olives at room temperature on the day of harvest. They do not use water during their pressing process, so that natural antioxidants and nutrients (normally dissolved in water) are conserved.
Store in a cool, dark place, and keep out of direct sunlight.
