Organic Yellow Mustard Seeds

Our organic Whole Mustard Seeds are yellow and come from the annual white mustard plant B. hirta/Sinapis alba, all parts of which are edible. The white mustard plant originates from the Mediterranean area. However, it grows in both cold and warm climates, which may explain mustard's popularity around the world. Interestingly, it is in the same genus as cabbage and turnip. Mustard seeds are an important spice in many regional diets. They are commonly used as a spice in Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Bangladesh.
